Meeting Voices are an enthusiastic group of some fifty singers of all ages and abilities from all walks of life who meet to sing a wide variety of songs from around the world in four-part harmony. They sing purely for enjoyment with the occasional performance, often in support of local charities and events. The choir do not use printed music and sing unaccompanied.
Everything is taught by ear by their Musical Director, Pete Linnett. Pete is a member of the Natural Voice Network and also composes and arranges for community choirs. The choir is based in Chard and there are no auditions to join and the atmosphere in sessions is informal and unpressured.
